The Art of Arabic Calligraphy

This course is for those who wish to get a significant knowledge and techniques of one of the most important forms of artistic work associated with Arabic language. Familiarity with the Arabic alphabet is a plus, or any other writing system that uses some or all of the Arabic alphabet such as Farsi, and Urdu. There will be different calligraphy styles and scripts to be learnt like Ruq’ah Style, Naskh style, Thuluth style, Diwani style and free style.
It is recommended that you have a knowledge of Arabic Alphabet before taking this course, however it is not compulsory.
